Essential rules

MY FORAGE is a journal, not an identification tool. Nothing in the app replaces the opinion of a mycologist or a pharmacist.
Many edible species have toxic or deadly look-alikes. The death cap resembles several good edibles, and it kills.
Several edible species are edible only after cooking. Always read the species sheet before eating.
When in doubt, abstain. After a suspect ingestion, call your national poison control centre immediately and keep a sample.
Some species are protected or regulated: respect local law and picking quotas.
Forage responsibly: leave what you do not need, do not destroy the mycelium, respect private property.

Sheets marked "user contribution" are not verified by the publisher. Only curated sheets carry validated edibility data.

The publisher accepts no liability for poisoning or accident.

These documents are written in French and English. In case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the French version prevails.
